It is hosted inside the ancient Palazzo Pergami. It cherishes important archaeological and artistic remains which remind of the legend of the Saint, the history of the Republic and the vicissitudes experienced by its institutions. A painting and sculpture section is also on display including works of art by Guercino, Pompeo Batoni, Elisabetta Sirani, Stefano Galletti. It also contains Egyptian, Etruscan and Roman finds donated to the State.. Not to be missed is the collection of ancient coins and medals which date back to the period between 1864 and 1937.
