La Ballata di Romilda
Theatrical show
See you on Saturday 23 May at the Teatro Concordia with the show "The Ballad of Romilda," in collaboration with the Contamina APS cultural and social promotion association.
Romilda has always danced, even without ever setting foot on the ground. She doesn't fly, she's not a superhero or a mythical figure: she's a woman. A psychologist, to be precise. And yes, she moves around in a wheelchair.
Who is Romilda, really? It's easier to say by subtraction: she's not a motivational speaker, she's not someone who says "if you want, you can." She's a person who lives, works, travels, loves, and dances through life—on two wheels.
This show isn't an edifying tale or a tale of rebirth, but a living, authentic story. A monologue that blends stand-up comedy and stream of consciousness, stumbling (even) over architectural barriers. Starting from the actress's biography, the stage becomes a space of truth, irony, and freedom, free of rhetoric or judgment.
And yes, Romilda really does dance. At concerts, in clubs, and even on stage.
