San Marino becomes the capital of spiritual tourism
The International Forum on Pilgrimage and Walking Tourism will take place on June 3rd at the Titano Theatre.

The event, sponsored by the Secretariat of State for Tourism of the Republic of San Marino in collaboration with the Diocese of San Marino-Montefeltro, represents a strategic opportunity for institutions, operators, scholars, media, and industry leaders to discuss the new perspectives of this sector, which is increasingly central to the dynamics of contemporary tourism.

The proceedings will open at 11:00 with remarks by the Secretary of State for Tourism, Federico Pedini Amati, and the Bishop of the Diocese of San Marino-Montefeltro, His Excellency Monsignor Domenico Beneventi.
The central moment of the event will be the keynote address by His Excellency Monsignor Rino Fisichella, Pro-Prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, entitled "Religious Tourism: Contemplation of Beauty."
The program will continue with roundtable discussions, interviews, and insights featuring distinguished guests from the national cultural, publishing, and tourism sectors. Speakers include: Davide Rondoni, writer and President of the National Committee for the Celebrations of the Eighth Centenary of the Death of Saint Francis of Assisi; Miriam Giovanzana of Terre di Mezzo, who will present the book "Il Paese dei Cammini" (The Country of the Walks); Monica Valeri, Religious Tourism Project Leader for APT Emilia-Romagna; Francesco Boggi, co-founder of the Cammini d'Italia community; Raffaella Rossi, Director of Saint Francis Way; and Massimo Feruzzi, Advisor to the Secretariat of State for Tourism.
The event will be moderated by journalist Eva Crosetta, a RAI spokesperson and host of the program "Sulla Via di Damasco" (On the Road to Damascus).
