The events scheduled in San Marino for the last weekend of July
Thursdays in the City Centre – 23 July
Five special evenings in San Marino’s Old Town, dedicated to shopping, culture, entertainment and fine food. On 23 and 30 July, and 6, 13 and 27 August, shops, bars, restaurants, museums, the Philatelic and Numismatic Shop, and attractions will stay open later than usual, accompanied by live music and performances. Throughout the evenings, visitors will have the opportunity to experience a journey aboard the AB03 electric railcar of the historic Treno Bianco Azzurro, operating from 20.00 to 23.00. Visitors can also reach San Marino using the San Marino–Rimini Shuttle Bus service, available until 23.15, or the Cable Car service connecting Borgo Maggiore with the Old Town, operating until 00.45.

San Marino’s summer invites visitors to discover tradition, flavours, art, wellness, and music in unique locations across the Republic of San Marino. As part of the “From Farm to Table” project by the Terra di San Marino Consortium, Thursday 23 July – Sunset in the Vineyard: enjoy an aperitif, a DJ set, and a tasting of Cantina San Marino wines in the beautiful setting of the Centro Sperimentale Bosche.

Fantasy - SM Accordion Concert Academy – 23 July
Castellaccio Vibra Musica 2026 returns, the music festival set in the enchanting archaeological site of the Castellaccio of Fiorentino, where nature, history and exceptional acoustics come together. The festival features four concerts, with a repertoire ranging from the Baroque period to the twentieth century, under the artistic direction of Maestro Augusto Ciavatta. The series opens on Thursday 23 July, with Fantasy, a concert by the SM Accordion Concert Academy. The following performances will take place on 4, 12 and 29 August.

Summer Vibes 2026 - Fred De Palma in concert – 24 July
Live music at the San Marino Outlet with Summer Vibes, the summer concert series that continues to bring some of the most beloved Italian and international music artists to the stage of the new arena every Friday evening. On Friday 24 July, Fred De Palma will take the stage. One of the leading figures on the Italian urban-pop scene, he is renowned for his hit songs that blend rap, pop and Latin rhythms. Stores will remain open from 18:00 to midnight, with special promotions.

Get It! – 24 July
An evening to discover the English within you, hosted by Barbara Gambini. A workshop designed to learn English in a natural, engaging and rewarding way, through strategies, materials and practical tips to improve pronunciation, comprehension and conversation skills. A useful and enjoyable event open to everyone: students, teachers and anyone who would like to approach the English language or enhance their existing knowledge. In case of bad weather, the event will take place at the Centro Sociale di Dogana.

San Marino Antiqua – 24, 25 e 26 July
The Republic of San Marino’s Old Town becomes an open-air medieval stage. For three days, visitors will enjoy an immersive journey into the Middle Ages, featuring history, traditions and entertainment, in an engaging atmosphere for the whole family. More than 800 participants in historical costumes will bring squares and iconic locations to life with tournaments, battles, historical games, archers and ancient crafts. Main events: the festival will officially open on Friday at 21.30 in the evocative Cava dei Balestrieri with the Tournament of Fire, curated by Filmont 301. The event will continue on Saturday and Sunday from 16.00 to midnight, with performances and historical reenactments by the following historical groups: Federazione Balestrieri Sammarinesi, la Corte di Olnano e la Compagnia dell’Istrice, la Cerna dei Lunghi Archi di San Marino, la Compagnia della Forca e I Barattieri – Associazione Sammarinese Giochi Storici. On Sunday 26 July, as part of San Marino Antiqua, the Old Town will host: from 8:30 to 16:30, the Tournament of Liberty – Historical Archery Absolute Championship; and from 21:30, the 70th Anniversary Palio of the Federazione Balestrieri Sammarinesi, a traditional Italian-style antique crossbow shooting competition. A medieval market will offer handicrafts, traditional products and period-inspired creations. Visitors will also have the opportunity to rent historical costumes at Lady Camelot. During the event, restaurants and taverns will offer medieval-inspired menus, and themed guided tours of the medieval city will be available. The cable car service will operate until 1.00.

Alba sul Monte...in concert – 26 July
The sunrise concerts are back at the Orti dell’Arciprete, in the heart of the Old Town, offering a stunning view of the Adriatic Sea. Now in its 18th edition, the series, directed by Maestro Augusto Ciavatta, features five concerts from 26 July to 23 August, dedicated to classical music, jazz and other related genres. The experience concludes with an included breakfast. Booking is recommended.

Torneo della Libertà – 26 July
The Torneo della Libertà brings the Historical Archery Absolute Championship to San Marino’s Old Town, open to archers from Italian Federations, Leagues and Associations. The winners of each category will compete in the final of the Collare di San Marino for the title of Champion of Champions of Italian Historical Archery.

Inarrestabile – until 3 September
Ndidi Emefiele, an internationally renowned Nigerian artist, explores the female figure through vibrant, layered works that celebrate autonomy and identity. Inarrestabile, curated by Riccardo Freddo, is her first major solo exhibition in San Marino; it features paintings, collages, and installations that examine the contemporary female experience, bridging African tradition and modernity.

9x9 Opere tra Muri e Pareti – until 3 settembre
Running alongside the second edition of “BUONENOVE – Public Art for the Republic of San Marino”, the exhibition “9×9: Works Between Walls and Surfaces” will be on view at the First Tower. Conceived as an in-depth complement to the festival, the exhibition brings together the experiences of the first edition and the new projects currently underway, offering visitors an insight into the artists’ work and the process through which public art contributes to the transformation of the territory.

"Sacred Pop Icons" exhibition by Simone Legno – until 30 September
The exhibition tells the story of an Expo legacy that continues to build bridges, born from the experience of Expo Osaka 2025 and the collaboration between the Republic of San Marino and the Dicastery for Evangelization. Hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, the exhibition features works that reinterpret the symbols of Christian tradition through a contemporary language of colours, essential forms, and an aesthetic capable of engaging with diverse audiences. A meeting point between art, culture, and spirituality, included in the programme of celebrations for the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi (1226–2026).
