Success for San Marino Antiqua

The first edition of *San Marino Antiqua – Legends and Stories of the Titano* concluded with a great satisfaction. The event, which transformed the Historic Centre of the Republic of San Marino into a grand stage for medieval reenactments, recorded a total of 27,893 visitors in the historic centre's car parks and 14,926 cable car trips over the course of the three days.

Performances, tournaments, historical processions, markets, traditional crafts, street artists, music, jesters, and demonstrations of crossbow and archery skills engaged thousands of visitors in an immersive journey through history and tradition. The event relied heavily on the vital contributions of numerous historical reenactment troupes, artists, and flag-waving and drumming groups from across Italy, alongside San Marinese associations; together, they brought every corner of the Historic Centre to life, offering an authentic and engaging experience for visitors of all ages.

The evening performances at the Cava dei Balestrieri—including the "Torneo di Fuoco" stunt show, the "Grande Spettacolo dell'Alleanza," and the 70th Anniversary Palio of the San Marino Crossbowmen Federation—were a resounding success, serving as the highlights of the event.

San Marino Antiqua successfully showcased the Republic's historical and cultural heritage through a program that combined historical reenactment, entertainment, education, and tourism promotion, confirming the UNESCO-listed Historic Centre as the ideal setting for events celebrating the history and traditions of Mount Titano.
