Thursdays in the City Centre –   30 July

The five special evenings in San Marino’s Old Town, dedicated to shopping, culture, entertainment and fine food continue on 30 July, and 6, 13 and 27 August. Shops, bars, restaurants, museums, the Tourist Information Office, the Philatelic and Numismatic Shop, and attractions will stay open later than usual, accompanied by live music and performances. Throughout the evenings, visitors will have the opportunity to experience a journey aboard the AB03 electric railcar of the historic Treno Bianco Azzurro, operating from 20.30 to 23.00. Visitors can also reach San Marino using the San Marino–Rimini Shuttle Bus service, available until 23.15, or the Cable Car service connecting Borgo Maggiore with the Old Town, operating until 00.45.

International Tennis San Marino Open ATP Challenger 125  –   until 2 August

Nestled in the lush surroundings of Montecchio Park, the Cassa di Risparmio Tennis Centre is ready to host the 33rd edition of the Internazionali di Tennis San Marino Open, the prestigious ATP Challenger 125 tournament that, in recent years, has served as a major stepping stone for players who have since established themselves on the international circuit, including Holger Rune and Matteo Arnaldi. The 2026 edition aims to build on the outstanding standards achieved in recent seasons, reaffirming the high level of quality that has made the tournament a landmark event on the international tennis calendar.

San Marino’s summer invites visitors to discover tradition, flavours, art, wellness, and music in unique locations across the Republic of San Marino. Anniversary of Garibaldi's Escape –   31 July

In 1849, San Marino offered refuge to Giuseppe Garibaldi and around 2,000 volunteers fleeing the Austrian and Papal troops. Thanks to the diplomatic skill of the Sammarinese authorities, Garibaldi and his followers were able to leave the Republic without conflict, in one of the most significant episodes reflecting San Marino’s long-standing tradition of hospitality and neutrality.

SMIAF  San Marino International Arts Festival –   from 31 July to 2 August

The 19th edition of SMIAF – San Marino International Arts Festival brings three days of street arts, live concerts, exhibitions, workshops, performances, craft markets, wellness and children's areas, street food, and a wide range of family-friendly experiences to the heart of San Marino's Old Town. The festival also celebrates the tradition of passing the hat—a symbol of the unique bond between performers and their audience. The theme for the 2026 edition is "Transformation", a concept that embraces change as an opportunity for growth and exploration. It serves as the common thread connecting art, people, and places, embodying the spirit of a festival that, for nearly twenty years, has continued to evolve while engaging with the world around it.

Summer Vibes 2026 - Cristiano Malgioglio and Angie –   31 July

Live music at the San Marino Outlet with Summer Vibes, the summer concert series that continues to bring some of the most beloved Italian and international music artists to the stage of the new arena every Friday evening. On Friday 31 July, the spotlight will be on one of Italy’s most versatile and charismatic entertainment personalities, Cristiano Malgioglio, joined by Angie, finalist in the latest season of Amici, for an evening of energy, wit, and outstanding live entertainment. Stores will remain open from 18:00 to midnight, with special promotions.

Alba sul Monte...in concert  La voce degli animali Kima Vocal Ensemble –   2 August

The sunrise concerts are back at the Orti dell’Arciprete, in the heart of the Old Town, offering a stunning view of the Adriatic Sea. Now in its 18th edition, the series, directed by Maestro Augusto Ciavatta, features five concerts from 26 July to 23 August, dedicated to classical music, jazz and other related genres. The concert will be followed by an included breakfast. Booking is recommended.

Inarrestabile – until 3 September

Ndidi Emefiele, an internationally renowned Nigerian artist, explores the female figure through vibrant, layered works that celebrate autonomy and identity. Inarrestabile, curated by Riccardo Freddo, is her first major solo exhibition in San Marino; it features paintings, collages, and installations that examine the contemporary female experience, bridging African tradition and modernity.

 9x9 Opere tra Muri e Pareti  –  until 3 settembre

Running alongside the second edition of “BUONENOVE – Public Art for the Republic of San Marino”, the exhibition “9×9: Works Between Walls and Surfaces” will be on view at the First Tower. Conceived as an in-depth complement to the festival, the exhibition brings together the experiences of the first edition and the new projects currently underway, offering visitors an insight into the artists’ work and the process through which public art contributes to the transformation of the territory.

"Sacred Pop Icons" exhibition by Simone Legno – until 30 September

The exhibition tells the story of an Expo legacy that continues to build bridges, born from the experience of Expo Osaka 2025 and the collaboration between the Republic of San Marino and the Dicastery for Evangelization. Hosted by the Ministry of Tourism, the exhibition features works that reinterpret the symbols of Christian tradition through a contemporary language of colours, essential forms, and an aesthetic capable of engaging with diverse audiences. A meeting point between art, culture, and spirituality, included in the programme of celebrations for the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi (1226–2026).
