Corrupted Souls
Paintings dedicated to Dante’s Inferno
The exhibition will present a series of paintings dedicated to Dante’s Inferno, developed through an in-depth exegetical study of the text. Giuseppe Fanfani’s images are not merely artistic interpretations, but true visual translations of Dante’s words, capable of conveying their dramatic power, moral tension, and symbolic richness. The opening presentation, scheduled for Wednesday, May 20 at 17:30 in the Sala Batoni, will be led by Sister Maria Gloria Riva, who will offer a theological and iconographic reading of the work, helping to highlight the spiritual depth of the project.
