San Marino hosts the premiere of the film "RETURNING TO THE EST" by Antonio Pisu: the screening on Thursday 13 February at the Cinema Teatro Concordia in Borgo Maggiore

The Republic of San Marino is preparing for a special event in the world of cinema: the premiere of the film "RETURNING TO EST", directed by Antonio Pisu and produced by StradeDelEst. The screening will take place on Thursday 13 February at the Cinema Teatro Concordia in Borgo Maggiore, and represents the second of three films shot in the 2024 season in San Marino.

The film, set in 1991, tells the adventures of three friends – Pago, Rice and Bibi, played by Lodo Guenzi, Matteo Gatta and Jacopo Costantini – who, after a trip to Romania, return to their daily lives in Cesena. While Pago works as a tour guide and often visits San Marino, Rice is employed in a small bank, and Bibi corresponds by letter with Yuliya, a young Bulgarian she has never met. Encouraged by his friends, Bibi decides to leave for Sofia to meet her, but they will find themselves involved in a series of events and vicissitudes that will lead them to be mistaken for international spies, giving rise to an adventure full of twists and turns.

On the evening of February 13th the screening of the film will be preceded by a presentation with special guests. 

The film will remain showing at the Concordia Cinema until February 19, 2025.
