Following the success of 2025, San Marino RTV announces the second edition of the most anticipated music event: the San Marino Song Contest.

The grand finale will be held on Saturday, March 7 2026, at the Teatro Nuovo in Dogana (Republic of San Marino) and broadcast live on San Marino RTV, channel 550, and on Radio San Marino.

The final will determine the artist who will represent San Marino at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, taking place in Vienna, Austria, from May 12 to 16.

New format: the new edition of the San Marino Song Contest will feature, in addition to the March 7 final, two semifinals broadcast live on RTV on March 3 and 4 mirroring the Eurovision model. Each semifinal will feature 20 contestants from the "Dreaming San Marino Song Contest," the selection process organized by Media Evolution, a preparatory stage for the final stages of the contest that will provide access to the ESC in Vienna.

Ten emerging contestants from the two semifinals will advance to the March 7 final, along with 10 established competitors.
