San Marino Antiqua

Legends and Stories of Mount Titano

A journey into the Middle Ages in the heart of the Republic of San Marino

From 24 to 26 July, the Republic of San Marino's Old Town will be transformed into a vast open-air stage with San Marino Antiqua – Legends and Stories of Mount Titano, the new event dedicated to medieval reenactment.

For three days, streets and squares will bring the atmosphere of the Middle Ages back to life through shows, tournaments, and scenes of everyday life. An immersive experience designed for both adults and children, combining tradition, history, and entertainment.

The event will begin on Friday 24 July, with a spectacular evening show: scenic effects, duels, and fire performances will create an adrenaline-filled experience featuring professional stunt performers from the world of action cinema.

On Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July, more than 800 participants from Sammarinese and international historical groups will animate the streets of the Old Town with reenactments, medieval games, combat demonstrations, archery displays, and ancient crafts. Activities will take place across various locations in the Old Town, offering visitors a true journey back in time.

During the event, the 70th anniversary of the Federazione Balestrieri Sammarinesi will also be celebrated, alongside the prestigious Tournament of Liberty, featuring archers from all over Italy competing for the Collar of San Marino.
