The Voice of the Animals
Kima Vocal Ensemble
An event with an international scope featuring the Kima Vocal Ensemble, a Swiss vocal group specializing in the a cappella repertoire. The program explores the theme of imitation in music: birdsong, animal calls, and the sounds of nature have inspired composers from the 15th century to the present day. The result is an original and evocative journey in which the animal world also serves as a metaphor for human character traits, virtues, and flaws.
