Training courses for hospitality businesses begin

The Tourism Office of the Republic of San Marino, in collaboration with USOT (San Marino Union of Tourism Operators), announces the opening of registration for the training course for certification to operate as a hospitality business.
The training will be completely free of charge for all hospitality businesses based in the Republic or for those wishing to start a future hospitality business. Please note that the training is mandatory for those who do not meet the requirements set out in Article 4 of Regulation No. 3 of 8 June 2010.
The 16-hour course is designed to provide participants with the necessary skills and professionalism to comply with regulations and, in particular, to manage the various processes and phases of a hospitality business, effectively responding to changes dictated by market developments, technological innovation, and the need to offer increasingly effective services to visitors.

The course will be held at the USOT headquarters at Via Napoleone Bonaparte 75, San Marino, and will begin on 23 March 2026, in four modules, on the dates and times indicated in the attached calendar.

Module 1 - Laws and Regulations (4 hours)
Objectives: Understand the relevant regulatory framework and the basics of daily management.

- Privacy and Data Protection (GDPR): Processing of Guest Data

Module 2 and 3: Management of Hospitality Facilities and Customer Services (8 hours)
Objectives: Develop interpersonal and promotional skills to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. Acquire basic tools for managing the business's financial situation.

2 April 2026 - from 14:30 to 18:30
Module 4 - Marketing and Promotion (4 hours)
Objectives: Provide the tools needed to make the property more visible, more competitive, and more capable of attracting quality guests. Develop a comprehensive vision of hospitality management and how to communicate it effectively.

- Digital marketing strategies
- Social media promotion
- Branding and online reputation
- How to choose channels: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn
- Content strategies: storytelling, videos, reels, UGC
- Artificial Intelligence and Hospitality Properties.
