The Military Band of the Republic of San Marino was officially established on June 12, 1843, when it was associated with the Uniformed Militia Corps under the name "Military Concert," which was subsequently discontinued and replaced by its current name.

The Military Band, directed by Maestro Stefano Gatta, performs its functions within the territory of San Marino as a state band for national celebrations and concerts, primarily in the summer.
