The Museum of Torture in San Marino is a veritable anthology of horrors, with more than 100 instruments of torture taking in centuries of history, deeply sad for all humanity.

In the course of time, human beings have developed a variety of techniques and methods for the control and submission of their peers. These torments have been used in turn on heretics, political opponents, common criminals, witches and even the mentally ill.
