"The Night of Toys"

 

San Marino, 28 December 2022 – After Christmas, the magic of the holidays continues to enliven San Marino’s Old Town, with "The Christmas of Wonders - An Incredible Journey" awaiting the arrival of the new year with "The Night of Toys”!

The world of toys will in fact be the protagonist of New Year's Eve in San Marino which on 31 December will enliven Piazzale Lo Stradone with the "Night of Toys" party: the Band led by Little Muffin will welcome the public with waders, the Grinch and toys starting at 22.00, to spend the last night of the year in joy with the whole family.

The unmissable dj set by Mr. Lori G will open the dances and inflame the stage of the Old Town of the Republic of San Marino, who, together with the breathtaking performances of the "SHOWZER" artists, will greet 2022 to lead us to the rhythm of music into year 2023: an incredible journey full of music and fun!

And of course, at the stroke of midnight, the toast accompanied by a sweet slice of pandoro or panettone cannot be missing.

On the first day of the year, after two years of break, the traditional New Year's concert by the Military Band of San Marino conducted by Maestro Stefano Gatta will be back at 17.00 at the Teatro Titano: a musical tribute to the soundtracks of the films of the Italian cinema with music by authors such as Ennio Morricone, Nicola Piovani, Nino Rota, Alessandro Cicognini.

The organization of the 2022/2023 edition of The Christmas of Wonders was entrusted by the Ministry of  Tourism and the Tourism Board to NexTime Eventi by Alberto Di Rosa who will give life to the shows of "An incredible journey" under the artistic direction by Simone Ranieri.

The main sponsor of the event will be the well-known jewelry brand #BRAND. The event will be sponsored by Banca di San Marino, San Marino Outlet Experience, Grafikart, Titan Coop and Illusion Group. Tim San Marino, Salusland by Pharma Titano and Energreen.sm will be technical partners of the event. The visual of the campaign is curated by NexTime Eventi with the collaboration of BBL Advertising by Alessandra Lanzani and MOAB for media planning, the "magic shot" for the campaign of "An incredible journey" is by Simone Maria Fiorani.

Bianco Azzurro Train: the electromotive will be active every Saturday and Sunday of the event and on holidays for the entire duration of the event. Times: from 14.00 to 18.00.
Access is free for holders of the complete Polar-Express Ticket, validated in the 4 locations; otherwise the full cost of the ticket is 5 euros.
Exhibition: retracing the history of the Bianco Azzurro Train which arrived from Rimini to San Marino and which was active from 1932 to 1944, inside the gallery it will be possible to admire original objects and memorabilia of the time and unpublished photographs.

Shuttles:
• The By Train service, a small train on road, will connect Piazzale Nazioni Unite, Piazzale Lo Stradone and the car parks number 2Bus, number 3, number 5 and number 6 (ticket cost 3 Euros);
• The circular shuttle service with the By Train road train will connect Piazzale Nazioni Unite with Piazzale Lo Stradone (ticket fee 1.50 Euros)

Cable car:
The cable car service that connects Borgo Maggiore with the Old Town will be active during the Christmas of Wonders at the following times:

• 25 December from 14.00 to 19.30
• 1 January from 13.30 to 19.30
