The project has already started with the installation in the Historic Centre of 5 monitors dedicated to tourism promotion and continues with initiatives in partnership with the electronics multinational dedicated above all to young people and schools

The Minister of Tourism Federico Pedini Amati presented today to the Most Excellent Captains Regent and then at the Press Conference the first results of the Corporate Citizenship programme that Samsung Electronics Italia has chosen to launch in the Republic of San Marino. This is a programme from the world's leading company which has included a series of initiatives aimed at helping young people to seize the opportunities and benefits of the digital world so that they become promoters of positive change in society. The company, starting from the enabling-people's vision, i.e. enabling people thanks to new technologies and digital skills, is committed to providing future generations with all the necessary tools, knowledge, creativity and empathy to thrive in a technology-driven future, in line with goal 4 of the United Nations 2030 Agenda.

The Samsung programme, developed in San Marino thanks to the relationship established with the company by the Ministry ofTourism, started with a donation of 7 monitors to the Most Excellent Chamber of the Republic of San Marino, which in turn assigned them to the San Marino Tourism Board, five of which are to be used in the Historic Centre to promote the Country and its events, to guide tourists and to provide useful information through high quality images capable of enhancing the San Marino territory, facilitating dialogue with visitors and involving the population.

Specifically, the new monitors have been installed in the locations of Piazza della Libertà, Saint Francis Gate (55" vertical monitors), Piazzetta Garibaldi, Contrada Omerelli and Piazzale Domus Plebis (75" horizontal monitors). Two additional monitors donated by Samsung Electronics Italia have been installed on trolleys and at the Kursaal Congress Centre at disposal of the San Marino Tourism Board.
