The Republic of San Marino participates in FITUR 2024

The leading fair for the Spanish and Latin American tourism market

The 44th edition of Fitur, the Madrid International Tourism Fair, one of the most important tourism fairs in the world, started yesterday.

The event, which takes place for five days until Sunday 28 January at the Ifema Madrid exhibition centre, brings together professionals from the tourism sector and those interested in the latest trends in the tourism field; at the weekend the fair will also be open to the public, who will be able to visit the numerous stands and discover the latest news in a constantly evolving sector.

The 2023 edition exceeded all expectations, highlighting the good prospects for global tourism activity and equaling all-time record figures.
The Republic of San Marino could therefore not miss such an important event and is present with a personalized area of ​​40 m2 (Hall 4 stand C16) at the Enit stand.

Together with the San MarinoTourism Board there are 7 San Marino tour operators in the sector: Ace Tour, Azimut, Itinerari Viaggi, MayFlower, San Marino Events, The One Viaggi and Titan Travel. Representing the Ministry of Tourism, the Director of the Department of Tourism and Culture Filippo Francini, yesterday during the inaugural day, hosted at the stand of the Republic of San Marino the Minister of Italian Tourism, Daniela Santanchè, the Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Czech Republic, Jan Fluxa, the President of the Veneto Region, Luca Zaia and the Europe Director of UNWTO, Alessandra Priante.

The San MarinoTourism Board will continue B2B meetings with tour operators and media present in Fitur until Friday while over the weekend it will welcome the public interested in discovering the beauties of the Republic of San Marino. Tour operators, the media and enthusiasts will have the opportunity to discover the countless attractions of San Marino: art, international events and outdoor experiences with the aim of attracting more and more tourists from the Spanish-speaking market.
