The Republic of San Marino participates in BIT 2024

BIT has opened today, in the presence of the Italian Minister for Tourism, the Hon. Daniela Santanchè, at the Allianz MiCo in Milan. On the occasion of the most important national event, which aims to show the best offers of the national and international tourist market, San Marino presents its tourist offer and the 2024 events calendar.

The 2023 edition confirmed the success of its format, exceeding expectations and numbers of previous editions, reaching over 37,000 visitors and 1,032 exhibitors, coming from 111 and 56 countries respectively.

The event, dedicated to tourism operators and open to the public on the inaugural day, aims to represent a space for networking and in-depth analysis of the main news and trends in the tourism sector. Attention to sustainability, to the environment and to personal well-being is undoubtedly growing, leading to increasingly responsible travel choices, to tourist proposals and corporate choices, capable of protecting the planet, the economy and local culture. The result is an increase in interest in immersive experiences, significantly in food and wine, slow and wellness tourism.

San Marino fits perfectly into this framework, with its offer of outdoor activities and sustainable experiences that complement the consolidated tourist products linked to the historical, cultural, landscape and gastronomic heritage of the territory of the Republic of San Marino.
