The Secretary of State for Tourism Federico Pedini Amati in Brussels: European funds for San Marino’s overseas tourism promotionry of Roland Ratzenberger

After the agreements of 2022 and 2023 further contributions to the project "The Lovely Places" for initiatives in Brazil and the United States

The Secretary of State for Tourism Federico Pedini Amati and European Travel Commission, in the presence of the Ambassador of the Republic of San Marino in Brussels Antonella Benedettini, have signed today in Brussels a new Memorandum of Understanding that will determine for the Republic of San Marino the opportunity to receive European funds for the promotion of tourism in the country through activities to be held in the United States and Brazil. The Secretariat of State for Tourism within the TTT Project "The lovely places" had already benefited from funds from the European Commission for tourism promotion in 2022 by adhering to the protocol CO.OP HORIZON (€190,000 for the synergistic promotion of the TTT territories) and in 2023 in the CO.OP 23 project (€250,000 for promotion through influencer and TV campaigns).
Thanks to the protocol signed today will arrive on the Titan further 80,000 euros against the organization of promotional roadshows in Brazil and the United States and participation in a business event in the same territories by 2024 (Saratoga Springs International Fair has been identified).
At the same time, San Marino is committed to continuing its activity of promoting good practices on accessibility and sustainability of tourism.

Federico Pedini Amati (Secretary of State for Tourism): "If the first approach to this type of project could be labelled as extemporaneous today, after our Republic and neighboring territories benefit for the third time from European funds for the promotion of tourism, I believe that everyone should pay tribute to the Secretariat of State for Tourism, which, together with its consultants, has committed itself to participating in this type of call and has succeeded in winning them. Thanks to the European Travel Commission and its Executive Director Eduardo Santander, who I would not hesitate to call a true and sincere friend of San Marino".
